Bio

Anushree is a photographer and filmmaker based in India. She shoots a diverse range of subjects for commercial and editorial clients. She is passionate about documentary work, and that reflects in her films for China General Television Network (CGTN) and photographs for Roli Books. She has travelled and worked in various cities and towns in India, covering issues such as climate change and gender inequality. Going forward, she wants to tell engaging stories that are largely neglected by society - such as the lived experience of queer people.

Anushree’s commercial work is characterised by her creative use of lighting. In the last few years, she has worked with architects and interior designers to photograph spaces designed by them. Photographing interiors is a unique way to play with composition and lighting to create mood - something that she enjoys.

In the last ten years, she has worked with clients such as National Public Radio (NPR), The Guardian, Google, Deutsche Bank, Au Bon Pain, Scarlet Splendour, China General Television Network (CGTN), The Westin, Roli Books.

She is available for assignments not only in India but around the world.
