This photo essay is from the Kumbh mela that was held in India in 2010. It is a religious cultural gathering embracing people from a broad spectrum of society and many parts of India. People who gathered here, engaged in rituals that have been practiced for centuries. Like many others, I went there to witness this event and to engage with a few stories from the millions that congregated.
